Platinum is mined in far smaller amounts than gold, mostly in South Africa, and much of it goes into catalytic converters and industry. Its price has at times been above gold and at times well below it, which is why some investors keep a small part of their metals in platinum as a separate bet. VAT applies in the EU and is included in the price.

LBMA Good Delivery
Bars only from refiners accredited by the London Bullion Market Association: Heraeus, Valcambi, Argor-Heraeus, PAMP and the others on the list.

Sealed assay card
Minted bars arrive in a tamper-evident blister on a card that states the weight, the fineness and the serial number stamped on the bar. If the seal is broken, the card is void.

Coins in capsules
Every coin sits in an airtight acrylic capsule inside a numbered VIP MRKT holder, so nobody touches it and it keeps its mint finish. NGC or PCGS graded slabs on request.

XRF and ultrasound
Each piece we buy or sell is checked with an XRF analyser, an ultrasonic thickness gauge and a precision scale. The protocol comes with your invoice.
