Loro Piana Summer Walk and Open Walk
The Summer Walk is a soft, unstructured suede moccasin, largely made by hand in Italy, with a calfskin lining and a non-slip rubber sole embossed all over with the Loro Piana monogram. Inside the heel there is a space to write the owner's name, a habit taken from sailing. Classic colours include navy, dark brown, grey, beige and black.
The Open Walk follows the same idea as an ankle boot: a low suede chukka with a leather lining and a white rubber sole carrying the same monogram.
We have Summer Walk loafers in Navy suede at €650 and Open Walk boots in Dark Chocolate suede at €750, both in EU 43 with box and dust bag.

Cashmere and vicuña
The Traveller jacket, introduced in 2007, is cut from cashmere treated with Storm System, an ultra-thin water-resistant membrane. It has a removable stowaway hood, four flap pockets with snap buttons, adjustable cuffs and suede details. Ours is navy, size IT 50, at €2,400.
What is vicuña? It is the rarest fine wool, taken from the vicuña, a wild relative of the llama that lives high in the Andes. Cloth made from it is feather-light with a soft, matte surface, and the undyed natural fawn is the colour most associated with it. Our Loro Piana stole is 100% vicuña in that natural colour, 200 × 75 cm, at €3,900.

How we check Loro Piana
Every Loro Piana piece is checked before we list it. On the shoes we look at the suede, the stitching, the lining and the monogram embossed on the rubber sole. On the Traveller we check the inner Loro Piana neck label and the Storm System label, and on the stole the composition and the woven label.

Which sizes do you have in Summer Walk and Open Walk?
Both pairs are EU 43. Loro Piana shoes are sized in European sizes, and you are welcome to try them at a private viewing in Helsinki or Tallinn.
How should I care for suede loafers?
Brush suede with a soft suede brush after wear, let it dry naturally if it gets wet and keep the shoes in their dust bag. Avoid heavy rain where you can.
How do I look after vicuña and cashmere?
Store them folded in breathable fabric, away from direct light, and leave cleaning to a specialist. Give a jacket room on its hanger so the cloth can rest.
Are your Loro Piana pieces authentic?
Every piece is checked for authenticity before we list it: material, labels, construction and, on the shoes, the embossed monogram on the rubber sole.
