Fonts, lume and marker alignment under a 10x loupe. This is where a fake usually gives itself away.
Case
We measure thickness and look at the edges. A polished case loses its sharp lines, and that shows in the price.
Caseback and clasp
Serial checked against the papers. Clasp spring and bracelet stretch tested.
Movement
Timegrapher: rate, amplitude, beat error. The printout goes into the box.
