About: Silver bar 1 kg
A kilo of 999 fine silver cast in one piece by an LBMA-accredited refiner, with its serial number stamped on the bar. Silver moves more sharply than gold, so many investors keep part of their metal in silver. In the EU silver carries VAT, and it is included in the price.
Certification
How every piece is verified
The same checks that banks and the large bullion dealers use. You see the paperwork before you pay.
- 01
LBMA Good Delivery
Bars only from refiners accredited by the London Bullion Market Association: Heraeus, Valcambi, Argor-Heraeus, PAMP and the others on the list.
- 02
Sealed assay card
Minted bars arrive in a tamper-evident blister on a card that states the weight, the fineness and the serial number stamped on the bar. If the seal is broken, the card is void.
- 03
Coins in capsules
Every coin sits in an airtight acrylic capsule inside a numbered VIP MRKT holder, so nobody touches it and it keeps its mint finish. NGC or PCGS graded slabs on request.
- 04
XRF and ultrasound
Each piece we buy or sell is checked with an XRF analyser, an ultrasonic thickness gauge and a precision scale. The protocol comes with your invoice.
